Carol – Dental Hygienist
Carol was born on a military base in Frankfort, Germany and is one of six children in her family. She followed her mother’s footsteps and received her B.S. degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Dental Hygiene from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Her dental career includes a variety of dental settings; from a periodontal office, a general practitioner office as well as a stint as a fluoride sales representative for Sherer Laboratories.
Carol married her high school sweetheart, Chuck and they have 3 children; Danny, Chase and Connie. After years of moving around, they landed in South Carolina where they have been for 21 years. Outside of the office Carol is a swim coach, and has spent the last 13 years coaching at White Knoll High School as well as nine years volunteering as a coach for Special Olympics. She also enjoys sailing with her husband, reading, and most of all spending time with her family.
Carol has been a Dental Hygienist at Jackson Smile Studio since 1995 and after 18 years, she still loves coming into the office every day. “I take great pride in providing the highest quality care in a compassionate and professional manner. I consider both our staff and patients a part of my extended family. Thank you for sharing your lives with us.”
Pam – Dental Hygienist
Pam grew up having horrible dental experiences and was very fearful of the dentist. After several years of searching, she found a great dentist and hygienist who were kind, patient and eased her fear which is when Pam discovered her calling as a dental hygienist. Pam has been a hygienist for 20 years and has spent the last six years at Jackson Smile Studio.
Pam grew up and currently lives in Elgin, SC and graduated from Midlands Technical College in Columbia. She loves her small town and doesn’t mind the 30 minute commute to Jackson Smile Studio. She stays very busy with her two beautiful daughters that are involved in many activities: softball, gymnastics, and skating, just to name a few. Family and her church are very important to her. She spends a lot of time with her daughters doing what girls do best – shopping! She is also very active and involved with her church.
Angie – Insurance Coordinator
Angie is originally from Dallas, TX but has lived in Lexington, SC for 11 years. When she isn’t working, she and her husband stay busy with their 3 year old daughter Rilee. Angie enjoys spending time with her family and going to the University of South Carolina football and baseball games.
Stacey – Billing Specialist
Stacey was born in Columbia, SC and grew up in the Irmo/Chapin area where she currently still resides and she has been with Dr. Jackson at Jackson Smile Studio for four years.
The love of her life is Zachary, her 10 year old son who keeps her very busy and active with all of his extracurricular activities. Fall and Spring months are especially busy and spent at Zachary’s football and baseball games. When she’s not at Jackson Smile Studio and being a mom, she enjoys being outdoors shooting guns, fishing, and four-wheeling. Stacey is also a Harley Davidson rider, and loves riding through the mountains where she loves to vacation the most. Family and friends are the most important and she tries to spend as much time as possible with them locally as well as traveling to Alabama to visit.
Wendy – Dental Assistant
Wendy is a native to Columbia, SC. She attended Cardinal Newman High School and went on to Midland Technical College where she received her certification as a Dental Assistant. She has been with Jackson Smile Studio since 2004.
She is a proud mother of two grown sons, Brandon and Nicholas. Her family and faith are very important to her, and she is actively involved at New Spring Church. Outside of the office, Wendy loves the outdoors and enjoys going to the coast as much as she can. She is also a local concert goer and enjoys the music scene in the Columbia area.
Nicole – Treatment Coordinator
Nicole is originally from Maryland, and moved south to attend University of South Carolina and hasn’t left since. Nicole has been working at Jackson Smile Studio since 2001, and has enjoyed seeing the practice grow throughout the years. “I am lucky to be able to say I have so many patients that I now call friends.”
She and her husband Mike are proud parents to three children, 2 girls and a boy. Since there is a 13 year age difference between her oldest and youngest child, there is never a dull moment at her house. In her free time she enjoys working out, attending sporting events and supporting her oldest daughter who is a high school cheerleader. On the weekends Nicole can be found on her boat on Lake Murray with family and friends.
